UAE Pavilion Expo 2020 – Engineering Innovation in Motion

Globetech Automation proudly contributed to the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai by delivering the advanced hydraulic and automation systems behind one of the event’s most iconic features — the 28 movable carbon-fiber wings that define the pavilion’s falcon-inspired architecture.

Designed by world-renowned architect Santiago Calatrava, the wings span up to 65 meters and weigh over 18 tons each. These massive elements rely on precision-engineered hydraulics to open and close with grace and reliability — powered by Globetech’s custom-built system.
