Hydraulic System Rotating Bridge
- Electrical & Software, Hydraulic Engineering
- October 2022
General Information
The hydraulic system consists of a hydraulic pump, a control valve, hydraulic lines, and four hydraulic cylinders to jack up and two hydraulic cylinders for bridge rotation.
The pump provides hydraulic pressure to the cylinders, which are attached to the bridge. The proportional flow control valve regulates the flow of hydraulic fluid to the cylinders, allowing for precise control of the rotation of the bridge.
The valve is controlled by dedicated software, developed by our Team.
A PLC will control the valve flow of fluid.
To rotate the bridge, the hydraulic system is activated, and the cylinders extend, pushing against the bridge and causing it to rotate around its pivot point.
